A new Raipur-Parmalkasa railway line has been built through the district from Kharsia. This project will create a new rail line.
The railway line will pass through 16 villages of Jaijaipur and Bhothia tehsil area of Sakti. As a result, a ban has been imposed on the purchase and sale of land of the affected villages.
Ban on registration of lands
Earlier, the railway had asked to stop the registration of land in the affected villages. The possibility of illegal and unauthorized land purchase and sale in the villages is increasing.
Despite knowing about the railway line, some people and brokers do land transactions without any legal investigation or valid permission.
The purchase and sale of land coming in the railway line has been banned because it creates many problems. The central government has promised to build a new railway line.
278 km long railway route
Work is progressing rapidly on a major plan of the Central Government to strengthen the railway network in Chhattisgarh. The long-proposed double railway line will be laid from Kharsia to Raipur via Parmalkasa.
The total length of this new railway line will be 278 kilometers. Along with this, the land of 16 villages will come under this project, where land purchase and sale has been completely banned.
A ban has been imposed on buying and selling of tracks which will be laid on the land of Sakti village-Dongia, Chikhlaronda, Malni Bhothia, Kankrabhat, Bhothidih, Kalmidih, Panahardi, Guchkulia, Semradih, Karmandih, Jhakhadih, Nandeli, Amgaon, Kanshigarh, Bawanbari, Belkari. Tracks will be laid in these areas.
