UP New Highway: 4 new expressways will be built in Uttar Pradesh, one will be 320 km long, these districts will be connected
UP News: Under the leadership of Yogi Government, road connectivity in Uttar Pradesh has been moving towards strengthening in the last eight years. Under four new road infrastructure projects in Uttar Pradesh, at a cost of Rs 1050 crore, traffic connectivity will become more smooth in many districts. Construction of four new expressways in the state is a big gift for the public. Wherever the expressway passes, there is an increase in land prices along with employment.

Uttar Pradesh News: In Uttar Pradesh, there has been tremendous improvement in road connectivity during the last eight years under the leadership of Yogi government.
Now four new projects are being started to further strengthen the road infrastructure in the state, which will cost a total of Rs 1050 crore. These projects will make transportation in many districts faster, safer and more convenient than ever before.
1050 crore rupees announced
The Yogi government has announced Rs 1050 crore to build four new highways in the budget. After the establishment of the expressways, the connectivity of three major pilgrimage sites Kashi, Prayagraj and Haridwar will improve.
The government is further strengthening the connectivity of roads to promote industrial development in the state, as informed by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna.
Expressway connectivity is going to improve further in Uttar Pradesh. The government has approved Rs 1,050 crore to build four new expressways.
The construction of expressways will improve the connectivity of three major pilgrimage sites Kashi, Prayagraj and Haridwar. These will be constructed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
The government is further strengthening road connectivity to promote industrial development in the state, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said.
MoUs worth Rs 36 lakh crore were signed at the Global Investors Summit. Of this, investment of more than Rs 6.50 lakh crore has come to the state.
New Expressway
A new expressway will be built to connect the Agra-Lucknow Expressway to the Ganga Expressway. The construction cost of this 90.83 km long link expressway will be Rs 4837.64 crore.
This green field expressway, which will start from Kudrail in Etawah near the Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Bundelkhand Expressway junction and end in Hardoi via Farrukhabad, will be an entry controlled six lane expressway. The government has made a provision of Rs 900 crore for this in the budget.
to build Vindhya Link Expressway
At the same time, Vindhya Link Expressway will be built to connect Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra to Ganga Expressway. The construction of this 320 km link expressway will cost around Rs 22,400 crore.
This highway will start from Prayagraj and end at National Highway-39 in Sonbhadra, which is the last point of Ganga Expressway.
After completion of construction, road connectivity with Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will improve. The government has announced Rs 500 crore for this in the budget.
Haridwar is easily accessible from Meerut
Apart from this, the government has kept Rs 50 crore for the expansion of Ganga Expressway, which will connect Meerut to Haridwar. After construction, Ganga Expressway will connect three pilgrimage sites Kashi, Prayagraj and Haridwar. Rs 36,230 crore is expected to be spent on the 594 km long Ganga Expressway project.
It has been designed for a speed of 120 km per hour for vehicles. Also, the government has made a provision of Rs 500 crore for the construction of Bundelkhand Rewa Expressway in the budget.
Spent five crore rupees
The government has also announced Rs 461 crore for the Bundelkhand Expressway and Defense Industrial Corridor project. An investment of about Rs 95,000 crore will be made in this project.
Five crore rupees have been spent to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) City in Lucknow. A provision of three crore rupees has been made for setting up Technology Translation Research Park in Cyber Security.
