How to turn off TalkBack: Nowadays, smartphones have many such features which are specially designed for needy people. One of them is the TalkBack feature. This feature is especially for visually impaired users. This feature reads out whatever is happening on the phone screen in a voice.

But sometimes this feature gets turned on accidentally and then it becomes difficult to operate the phone. There is no immediate action on tapping the screen and everything has to be touched twice.

The easiest way to turn off TalkBack

Press and hold both the volume buttons up and down at the same time for 3 seconds. If the shortcut is turned on on your phone, TalkBack will turn off immediately. If this doesn't work, follow the steps below.

How to turn off TalkBack from Settings?

Unlock the phone. If you have a password, enter it carefully because you will have to touch it twice. After this, go to Settings. For this, tap once and then double tap. 

Scroll down and the Accessibility option will be shown. Click on this option. Now go to TalkBack or Screen Reader option. Tap the on and off toggle button given there once and then double tap. A confirmation message will come, turn it off by double tapping it too.

After this, talkback will stop from your phone. It will not turn on until you enable it yourself. In such a situation, keep in mind that nothing is left on in your phone by mistake. Which causes problems later.
