93.798 hectares of land acquired from four villages

Bareilly Air Force Station is to be expanded. For this, 93.798 hectares of land is to be acquired from four villages. This is the reason why the district administration has banned the purchase and sale of the concerned land.

Now the district administration has banned the purchase and sale of 93.798 hectares of marked land of four villages in the process of expansion of the Air Force Station.

The landowner will have to take NOC from the tehsil if he wants to buy the land. After getting the consent from the Defense Ministry, the district administration, defense estate office and the officers of the Air Force Station are busy on the expansion of Bareilly's Trishul Airbase.

Correspondence regarding purchase and sale of land

Earlier, land was to be given to the residents of Hajipur Brajlal, Nagariya Kala and Bhuda, but in the gazette issued by the Government of India, construction and planting of trees within a hundred meters of the boundary of Trishul Airbase was also prohibited. There is also 18.435 hectares of land in Kanjadpur area located in the middle of the city.

The Air Force station is to be expanded here too. But due to delay in acquisition, the landowners of the four villages and the residents within a hundred meters of the Air Force station are writing correspondence regarding the purchase and sale of land citing the situation. Due to such a situation, now permission for sale has been given only on the NOC of Tehsil Sadar.

Acquire immediately or resolve the issue

The villagers wrote a letter to the office of the Special Land Acquisition Officer and appealed to complete the acquisition process quickly. The villagers say that they are only small farmers.

Often there is a need to buy or sell land. In such a situation, acquire the land soon or talk to the Air Force officers. In this case, information about the acquisition process so far has been sought from the Defense Estate Office.

Proposal for in-principle approval from Defence Ministry

Last month, the Defence Estates Office had sent a letter to the Air Force officers suggesting them to take in-principle permission from the Defence Ministry.

Tehsildar Bhanu Pratap Singh said that a report has been prepared on the previously marked land. The landowner will have to take NOC from the tehsil if they buy or sell the land. Construction and other work is prohibited within a hundred meters of the boundary wall of the Air Force Station.
