Tenant Landlord Dispute : If you live on rent, this is important. The Haryana High Court said that the property owner can now give any reason to vacate the property from the tenant, and the tenant cannot question it. With this order, the rights of the landlords have become stronger than before.

The Punjab-Haryana High Court has saved the rights of property owners in an important decision. The court clarified that the decision to vacate the property based on the genuine need of the property owner is valid.

Justice Deepak Gupta stressed that tenants do not have the right to determine the requirements of the property owner.

The court said that the property owner should not give any specific reason to vacate the property from his tenants. This decision gives property owners more rights over their property.

If the property owner says that he needs the tenant's space in any way, then his demand should be considered correct.

The High Court said that the landlord is from a rich family, so it is right not to give a reason for increasing work in his shop. Two tenants from Ludhiana, Satish Kumar and Komal, complained.

The High Court, while hearing this, said that just because the landlady has become old, the counsel for the petitioners said that she cannot work. The order to vacate the shop cannot be rejected on this ground.

Note that before 1995, the tenants in the case were given two shops on rent of Rs 700 per month. In 2010, the rent was not paid. Later the landlord asked them to vacate the shops as required, but they did not do so. After this the matter reached the court.
