In October 2018, permission was given to build a 240 km railway line in Uttar Pradesh. To build this railway line, land will be acquired from farmers of 85 villages in two tehsils.
Acceleration in construction of railway lines in rural areas
The work on the Khalilabad-Bahraich railway line has now gained momentum. In this railway project, the tender work for building stations at Bansi and Khesraha has been completed.
At present, the work of laying the railway line and soil leveling is going on at a fast pace at the Khesraha station construction site.
Ballast is also available for laying the railway line near Batsa and Bhaluha villages and cross boulders for laying the track. There is enthusiasm in the local rural areas seeing the speed of the railway line construction work.
The railway track will pass through Bansi and Dumariyaganj area
In October 2018, a new railway line of 240 km from Khalilabad to Bahraich was approved. The budget of this project is Rs 4940 crore. The target should be completed by 2026.
The new rail line will pass through Bansi and Dumariyaganj districts, for this land will be sought from farmers of 85 villages. This includes land of farmers of most of the villages of Bansi tehsil. The process of land acquisition in some villages is in the final stage.
In this, Bansi station will be built between Chitauana and Kolhua Chakwa Gram Sabhas, which will be near Gauri village. A railway station is being built between Batsa and Peedhiya village.
As the fields are empty, the work of soil filling is going on at a fast pace to build the railway line and station.
Soil is being filled at a height of ten to twelve feet at the station construction site and for laying the railway line. Boulders have also been dropped in Batsa, Ausangarha and Bhaluha villages to build the railway line.
